Jack Hurst is a seasoned technology and general management executive with experience in diverse environments ranging from Fortune 50 Corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups. He is the founder, consulting principal and managing director of Jack Hurst & Associates with over 20 years of successful retained general practice executive search experience with focused industry & functional specialties serving the needs of diversified technology manufacturing and service companies throughout the United States.
His previous industry work experience includes over 15 years of Fortune 500 experience in engineering, marketing, sales and general management with several high technology companies including Texas Instruments and The Boeing Company.
Prior to forming Jack Hurst & Associates, Jack was the Group President of a three-plant industrial products manufacturing subsidiary of a major conglomerate.
Industry positions held included design engineer, product engineer, senior program manager, engineering manager, product marketing manager, director of marketing, general manager and group president.
Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. In addition, he has extensive post-graduate education and training in management theory, psychology and leadership development.
